The Spiny Serpent was a shop located in Knockturn Alley neighbouring the shop Moribund's.[1]
Description[]
The shop had a small wooden door with a big black knocker on it. The shop was not closed, but the door was kept locked at all times, only allowing advanced customers to enter. Next to this door was a large window that allowed people to see into the shop itself. The contents of this shop is unknown, but outside on display were large vases, taller than Harry was in 1992.[1]
History[]
In 1992, whilst on an accidental trip to Knockturn Alley, Harry Potter tried to open the front door to this shop but discovered it to be locked.[1]
