Tianzi Mountains
The Tianzi Mountains are located on the outskirts of Kweilin, China.
Qilins were known to have lived in these mountainous areas.
History[]
In 1932, Newton Scamander rescued a baby Qilin in these mountains after its mother was killed and its twin was taken hostage by acolytes of Gellert Grindelwald.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The waterfalls were based on the Detian Falls on the border of China and Vietnam. It was described by Neil Lamon, co-production manager as "phenomenal".[citation needed]
