Tolga Safer portrayed Igor Karkaroff's aide in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In December of 2003, he auditioned for the part of Viktor Krum, but was not cast after several auditions, because the studio wanted a look different than described in the book. However, director Mike Newell was so impressed with his acting and unique look that the role of Karkaroff's Aide was created specifically for him.[1]
