Treats[2] was a small Muggle café located on one of Surbiton Station's platforms.[1]
History[]
This café was where Harry Potter read the Daily Prophet issue on the Death Eaters' attack on the Millennium Bridge in July 1996. Harry encountered a Muggle waitress, who questioned him about the Daily Prophet and him being one of the headlines. Other patrons read Daily Mail and The Sun.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- Unnamed in the original series or in the film adaptations, this café is only named in the original script for the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7.
- In the film, Harry meets Dumbledore on the other side of the station and they Apparate directly from here to Budleigh Babberton, as opposed to in the book where Dumbledore picks up Harry from 4 Privet Drive.
- In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, Dumbledore is seen right outside this café, as Harry sat on the other side of the station.
