- "May I have the attention of the court? It is time to announce the verdict in the trial of Kazuhiro Shiratori. The Wizengamot has spent a great deal of time deliberating on this matter... We considered every statement given today carefully. And we can only come to a single conclusion. The Wizengamot finds Kazuhiro Shiratori... Guilty of all charges. Let today's trial and verdict serve as a warning to all other members of the Dark organisation known as 'R'. Each and every one of you will be rooted out, put on trial, and will share the same fate as Mr Shiratori... A life sentence in Azkaban."

The Wizengamot trial of Kazuhiro Shiratori occurred during the 1990–1991 school year in Courtroom Ten of the British Ministry of Magic Headquarters, in which he was accused of attempting to assassinate Jacob's sibling the previous school year, as well as conspiring with the Dark wizard organisation 'R' and using the Unforgivable Curses. In conclusion, Albus Dumbledore declared him guilty on all charges following the Wizengamot's decision, and had him returned to Azkaban for a life imprisonment.[1]
