This Boggart was stationed in the Triwizard Maze, where the third and final task of the 1994 Triwizard Tournament took place.[2]

On 24 June 1995, the fourth champion Harry Potter encountered the Boggart in the Triwizard Maze. It transformed into a Dementor, and gliding toward him. Harry cast the Patronus Charm at it, thinking it was a real Dementor, but quickly realised it was a Boggart when it tripped over its robes. He then cast the Boggart-Banishing Spell at it, causing it to explode in a wisp of smoke.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- This Boggart was not seen in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
- Destroying this Boggart in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (level 6 year 4, "The Dark Lord Returns") will award the player with the character token for Fleur Delacour (Maze Task).[3]
