A troll trainer[1] was a job in the wizarding world for which witches and wizards trained security trolls[2] to guard places and objects.[3]
History[]
Roger Handlebaum was a troll trainer who proposed that training trolls when they were younger was easier. However, that has been doubted since he was killed very publicly in Las Vegas in 2003.[1] At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, fifth year students could find Have You Got What It Takes to Train Security Trolls?, a pamphlet about pursuing such a career when they graduated.[2]
After her graduation from Hogwarts in 1987, Angelica Cole was employed as a security troll trainer for the British Ministry of Magic.[4][5]
