There existed a troupe of dancing skeletons that performed for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for Hallowe'en.

History

Shortly after Fenrir Greyback's attack on Hogwarts in 1984, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore charmed a group of skeletons to perform for the students.

Dumbledore again charmed this group of skeletons for Hallowe'en between 1984 and 1991. During one year, Ismelda Murk, who had just survived being attacked by a large group of skeletons she had animated from Godric's Hollow graveyard, was scared by this troupe of skeletons, which her friends found very funny. During another year, one of the skeletons somehow managed to gain possession of a cursed sword which compelled all who wielded it, alive or dead, to fight others. Jacob's sibling had to rescue Argus Filch and Mrs Norris from this skeleton.

In October 1992, there were rumours that Dumbledore had booked this group of skeletons for the entertainment at the Hallowe'en feast in the Great Hall.
