History[]
On 25 December 1991 (Christmas day), Harry Potter was so surprised and overjoyed to have received actual Christmas presents for the first time in his life, and his friend Ron Weasley jokingly commented "what did you expect, turnips?".[2]
During a concert in the Little Norton Church Hall, The Hobgoblins' lead singer Stubby Boardman was struck in the ear by a turnip, causing him to retire.[3]
