Tweezers are small, usually metal objects used to grab things.[3]
History[]
Tweezers could be used to extract knarl quills from knarls, for use in the Laughing Potion.[1]
In the Flamel House in 1927, Newton Scamander asked Jacob Kowalski to grab a pair of tweezers from his a pocket in his suitcase to extract a water dragon parasite from Yusuf Kama's eye. Porpentina and Newt started describing what they were and Jacob responded in a comedic way, saying what he knew what they were. Jacob handed Newt the tweezers, and Newt told Tina to look away if she needed to. He took the parasite out from the eye and handed the tweezer to Jacob.[2]
A silver magical instrument was similar to a pair of tweezers which acted like a spider could be found inside 12 Grimmauld Place. In August 1995, whilst cleaning the house, Harry Potter was attacked by this item, with it trying to puncture his skin, which was smashed by Sirius Black with a copy of Nature's Nobility: A Wizarding Genealogy.[4]
