The Typing Pool was located in the basement of the Magical Congress of the United States of America and contained hundreds of self-operating typewriters that created rat-shaped memos.[1]
History[]
In 1926, Beryl worked in the Typing Pool and Tina Goldstein's desk in the Wand Permit Office was located nearby.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- It has been theorised by some fans that while the typewriters apparently work on their own accord, it could be the case that the typewriters in the Typing Pool in fact are linked to typewriters in various offices by means of the Protean Charm and the typing pool functioning as a sort of internal MACUSA post office from where employees remotely dispatch messages to one another.
