This barn owl was owned by the new fifth-year student who started at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the 1890–1891 school year.[1]
Biography[]
The owl had been purchased or obtained by this student prior to 1 September 1890, as it was seen on the carriage that was intended to bring the student, Eleazar Fig, and George Osric to Hogwarts. The carriage was intercepted by Ranrok, who ordered a dragon to attack the carriage, resulting in Osric's death as well as Fig and the student's escape from the scene.[2]
The owl eventually arrived safely at Hogwarts, where it regularly stayed in its owner's dormitory.[1]
