Unidentified female acolyte at the Candidates' Dinner[]

Unidentified Female Acolyte at the Candidates' Dinner (1)

Biography[]

In 1932, Grindelwald dispatched a group of his followers under the command of Credence Barebone to China with orders for them to find and capture an infant Qilin in the Tianzi Mountains. Despite the interference of Newt Scamander (who the acolytes had found assisting a mothering Qilin in giving birth and had pursued to seize the newborn foal), the dark wizards were able to seize the young colt and disapparated away to Nurmengard, unaware that another Qilin - a twin - had been born that night after their departure. Apparating into the front courtyard, this woman and the others met with their master and were commanded to leave the dark wizard and young Obscurial, which they complied to obediently, striding into the halls of the castle and subsequently not bearing witness to Grindelwald's killing of the young Qilin after it refused to bow to him.[1]

Sometime later, she was part of the group of Grindelwald's henchmen who accompanied him to Berlin to attend a special Candidates' Dinner hosted by the International Confederation of Wizards, which she attended dressed in a sleeveless dress woven from black fabric and adorned with a jewelled (possibly diamond) necklace. Their arrival instantly bringing silence to the hall, the acolytes swung their gaze to follow their master's as he looked at the house-elf musician, who had fallen silent upon their arrival, instructing them wordlessly to continue with their musical number. Subsequently striding through the hall, the acolytes, this woman among them, listened as Grindelwald engaged in polite but frosty conversation with Vicência Santos in regard to the passion of their separate supporters, then seated themselves at their table, in her case, besides a male Alliance member and began to dine. The dinner, however, erupted into chaos as Jacob Kowalski recklessly confronted Grindelwald for his manipulations of Queenie, and all of the diners - this female acolyte among them - exited whilst Helmut and other Aurors from the German Ministry of Magic made their unsuccessful attempt to take the Muggle man in.[1]

Afterwards, she attended a vast gathering of Grindelwald's troops within the courtyard of Nurmengard, whereupon she bore witness to Grindelwald's declaration that the wizards time of hiding was soon to be over. Though she, unlike most present, did not meet the conclusion of this statement with roared cheers, she still smiled, implying her loyalty and support of "The Greater Good" and its cause.[1]

Carrow, Zabini and Unidentified Male Acolyte face Yusuf

Confronting Yusuf Kama

A day or so afterwards, this man, whilst on guard with Zabini and Carrow, confronted Yusuf Kama as he arrived, but while his confederates had their wands held at fire point, he, though his wand was out, simply held it by his side as Kama introduced himself, then stepping aside as his master and Vinda Rosier emerged. Standing in silence, he subsequently watched as Grindelwald, in answer to Queenie's reading of Yusuf's thoughts, seemingly removed all memories of his half-sister Leta's death, then fell back behind Gellert as he escorted Kama into Nurmengard and following them in.[1]

Grindelwald constructs a smile

That night, this man was part of the collection of acolytes who accompanied Grindelwald to the special Candidates' Dinner, which instantly fell silence as the members of the Alliance arrived. Swinging his gaze to follow his master's as Gellert silently commanded the House Elf quartet to continue, this man and the rest of the acolytes strung into a single file as they strode through the hall to its centre, whereupon Grindelwald, after a brief icy conversation with Vicência Santos in regard to the passion of the supporters of both, led his subordinates to their table. The dinner, however, erupted into chaos as Jacob recklessly confronted Grindelwald for his manipulations of Queenie, and all of the diners, the male acolyte among them, exited.[1]

This acolyte later attended a morning gathering of Grindelwald's army, standing among the front rows and listening as Grindelwald declares the magicals' time of hiding would soon be over as the world heard wizardkind's deafening voice. Oddly enough, however, unlike the majority of the acolytes, who answered this statement with fanatical cheers, this man simply watched in silence as Grindelwald confronted Kama, who subsequently joined the mass.[1]

Vinda and Unidentified Alliance member find Queenie and Jacob

He and Vinda Rosier capture Queenie and Jacob

Along with a many more of Grindelwald's disciples, this man later accompanied his leader to the Supreme Mugwump election in Bhutan, where he stood guard over the Eyrie, watching from the rooftops as the crowds of supporters passed by. Unlike many of the Alliance members, who were caught up in conflict with members of Dumbledore's army as they attempted to seize the case, they believed contained the young twin Qilin - the only threat to Gellert's plans to cheat his way through the election - this man instead shadowed Queenie Goldstein and caught her and Jacob, standing alongside Rosier as they and several others captured the witch and Muggle and brought them to the ceremony, joining to small collection of supporters standing right before the three candidates and Vogel, although he continued to guard his former confederate as she and Jacob were held under guard.[1]

Acolytes bring Jacob forth

He subsequently bore witness to Grindelwald being proclaimed leader of the wizarding world, then, at a nod from Vinda, followed her up the steps of the temple with another acolyte, holding Jacob firmly, then retreated back to the crowd and watching as Grindelwald placed Jacob under the Cruciatus Curse, remaining unresponsive as Goldstein begged for someone to stop Grindelwald, who then declared war on the non-magical people. Grindelwald, however, was thwarted and forced to retreat. This acolyte may have been apprehended due to him being surrounded by Albus Dumbledore and several powerful Aurors, witches, and wizards such as Liu Tao, Yusuf Kama, Ida Webb, Victor, Theseus Scamander, Eulalie Hicks and more.[1]

Biography[]

In 1932, Grindelwald dispatched a group of his followers under the command of his lieutenant, Vinda Rosier, and the Obscurial Credence Barebone to China with orders for them to find and capture a young Qilin, though this man made no participating worth noting. Despite the interference of Newt Scamander (who Rosier and Carrow had found assisting a mothering Qilin in giving birth and had pursued to seize the newborn foal), the dark wizards were able to capture a young colt and disapparated away to Nurmengard Castle, unaware that another Qilin - a twin - had been born that night after their departure. Queenie reads Yusuf's mind

Sometime later, in the early morning dawn, Nurmengard was visited by Yusuf Kama, who claimed to be an admirer hoping to join the forces of 'The Greater Good'. To testify this, Grindelwald had Queenie Goldstein examine Kama's mind and translate the thoughts and emotions to spoken words, while this unidentified acolyte stood cloaked in the shadows behind Goldstein and Credence Barebone, watching without a word as Grindelwald removed all memories of Leta from her half-brother's mind.

That night, this acolyte was among the group of Grindelwald's allies that accompanied him to a special dinner in Berlin, bringing up the rear of the group behind Queenie Goldstein and Carrow as they entered, their arrival instantly bringing silence. Following his master's gaze with the rest of Gellert's entourage, this man looked down on the house-elf musician, commanding them silently to continue the music that had been brought to a screeching halt by the new arrivals, then moseying after his master in single file with the other acolytes, in this man's case, with Carrow in front of him and another behind. After a brief interaction between Grindelwald and Vicência Santos, which the man, Rosier, Zabini and the others beheld in silence, after which the new Supreme Mugwump candidate and his retinue seated themselves. Sitting beside Yusuf Kama, the gala was suddenly thrown into a literal storm of chaos when Jacob confronted Grindelwald, demanding he release Kowalski's magical lover from his service, and all those present, the Alliance members included, left as Aurors spilled in to apprehend the so-called No-Magique ‘assassin'.

Grindelwald walks through his supporters

This man at Nurmengard

Two days later, he attended a rally of Gellert's army held in the main courtyard of Nurmengard, parting as Grindelwald, flanked by Credence, strode through his sea of servants to the stairs leading into the castle-prison, from which he addressed his acolytes, telling them that their goal of overthrowing the International Statute of Secrecy and exposing wizards to Muggles was drawing ever-closer by the day and soon, the world would finally feel their voice. Oddly enough, unlike many presents, who, if they did not cheer, at least smiled, this man simply glanced to his right, as if slightly uncomfortable.

Again, as party of the collection of followers who directly accompanied their master, this man travelled to the Eyrie to bear witness to the ceremony that would determine who would succeed Anton Vogel (who was, in reality, a secret Grindelwald follower) as the supreme leader of the magical world. After Vinda and some others captured Jacob and Queenie and brought them to the small crowd of witches and wizards that stood directly below the candidates, this man stood behind them as he watched a Qilin (in truth the corpse of a young Qilin reanimated by the Alliance's master) bow before Grindelwald, who Vogel then decreed to be the new leader of wizardkind. In the wake of his victory, Grindelwald had his people lead Jacob forwards while this man moved in to calmly hold a struggling Queenie. While still holding Queenie firmly, he listened wordlessly as Gellert sent Jacob flying back, then cast the Cruciatus Curse on him for thinking to marry a witch and “pollute” magical blood with the blood of those who could not, letting Queenie slip through his fingers as she broke from it to throw herself besides the writhing Jacob, not even acknowledging her with a glance as she begged for someone to stop her former master. He thus bore witness to Newt Scamander's expose of Grindelwald's lies and the following duel between his leader and Albus Dumbledore.

In the light of dawn, this man, alongside hundreds more of Grindelwald's followers, gathered at Nurmengard to listen as Grindelwald, upon arriving and parting the sea of wizards and witches, declared that wizardkind's days of living under the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy was over and that the world would soon hear their deafening voice. In answer, this man, alongside many others, raised his wand to the sky as he cheered with a voice fueled by the fire of the fanatic.

Subsequently, alongside many other Grindelwald disciples, this man accompanied his master to Bhutan, where the election for the position of Supreme Mugwump (an election this wizard's master was running in) and was dispatched to watch over the Eyrie wizarding town, acolytes observing the crowds of candidate supporters from the rooftop of a building or infiltrating and joining the crowds of chanting wizards and witches. Knowing that his former lover and his group of allies would surely attempt to interfere with his plans to cheat his way through the Walk of the Qilin Ceremony with a reanimated Qilin corpse, Gellert instructed his disciples to seize the suitcases he believed would contain the living foal and be in the possession of a member of Newt's group. Catching sight of Dumbledore and Jacob Kowalski, this acolyte led several in pursuit of the pair through a crowd of Santos supporters and into a connecting alleyway, only to be fooled by the professor Disapparating back so that the dark wizard was in fact walking away from the pair.

Biography[]

He was present at the 1932 International Confederation of Wizards' Supreme Mugwump election as one of the acolytes who stood on the platform right before that on with Anton Vogel, Gellert Grindelwald, Liu Tao and Vicência Santos stood, watch, his arms crossed as Vogel (a secret ally of the Alliance) thanked the three candidates for their words, then signalled for the beginning of the walk of the Qilin that would determine which of the three would become his successor. In reality, however, the Qilin brought forth was a reanimated colt bewitched to kneel to Grindelwald while maintaining the image of an impartial selection of the next leader of wizardkind as a whole and in the wake of his victory, Grindelwald had his right-hand witch, Vinda Rosier, bring forth Jacob Kowalski to torture the Muggle, outwardly declaring war on the non-magical people, to his supporters' delight. Grindelwald's win, however, was soon exposed as fraudulent by Newton Scamander, Credence Barebone, Bunty Broadacre and Queenie Goldstein and, after a fierce duel with Dumbledore, the dark wizard was forced to flee, leaving the fate of this man unknown, though he was most likely either apprehended by the wizards surrounding him or fled the Eyrie to continue to fight for Grindelwald in the global wizarding war.
