This Augurey was being taken care of by Hagrid during the 1987–1988 school year.
Biography[]
During the 1987–1988 school year, Hagrid was taking care of this Augurey when he noticed it was ill and tried to give it medicine. However, it was too nervous to take the medicine. When Hagrid was assigned to be the mentor to Jacob's sibling during Hogwarts's anniversary, he brought Jacob's sibling to see if they would be able to calm it down enough to where it would be comfortable taking the medicine. Due to their experience handling a different Augurey, they were able to comfort the Augurey enough that it would take the medicine.[1]
