This wizard or witch was a Metamorphmagus.[1]
Biography[]
They infiltrated the British Ministry of Magic Headquarters during the 1990–1991 school year, disguising as several individuals including Reginald Cattermole, Amos Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks. They also cursed the enchanted windows to display a hurricane.[1]
After Jacob's sibling updated Corey Hayden with the events, Corey suspected the Dark witch from Knockturn Alley to be this Metamorphmagus due to the known transfiguration of her in the previous school year.[2]
Magical abilities and skills[]
- Metamorphmagus: This individual possessed the natural born ability to magically change all features of their physical appearance at will. They used this ability to impersonate various individuals so they could infiltrate the British Ministry of Magic.[1]
- Dark Arts: They were capable of cursing the enchanted windows in the Ministry to display a hurricane,[1] implying they were good with Dark Magic.
Behind the scenes[]
- It is very likely that this impostor was Verucca Buckthorn-Snyde, a known Metamorphmagus who was said to be very skilled at impersonating people. It would also explain how the Metamorphmagus was able to curse the enchanted windows proficiently.
