This forest was located in the West Siberian Plain, Russia.[1]
History[]
It was the location of the Attack of the Killer Forest in 1809, during the 1809 Quidditch World Cup. Romanian Beater Niko Nenad enlisted the help of local Dark wizards in jinxing the entire forest so trees came to life, rip their roots out from the grounds and trample the Quidditch stadium. They sprang to life instantly after Nenad hit a Bludger into the forest on purpose. The Quidditch match soon became a bloody battle between wizards and animated trees. Nenad was not prosecuted as he had been killed by a particularly violent spruce early on in the battle.[1]
