History[]
In the 2010s, the first Field Studies class took place in the desert where Professor Luna Scamander and her students arrived via Portkey. In the desert, Luna taught one of the students a few things about how to make friends with magical creatures, such as drawing their attention with berries and waiting for them to accept the human's presence. They later encountered Qui LeBlanc who arrived earlier and a Thunderbird.[2]
