These individuals were witches and wizards who worked as dragonologists and dragon keepers for the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary since before November 1994. These dragon keepers included Charles Weasley and a dragon keeper.[2]

During the 1994–1995 Triwizard Tournament, these wizards assisted in bringing nesting mother dragons to Hogwarts Castle for use in the First Task and held them in the Dragon Enclosure in the Forbidden Forest, where at least thirty dragon keepers were needed to control the dragons using chains and the Stunning Spell.[2]
They remained on hand during the Task in case the dragons got out of hand.[3]
