This vampire was alive during the 1990s, and had been a vampire for quite a while.[1]
History[]
During Hallowe'en in the 1990–1991 school year, she caught wind of rumours that an ancient and powerful vampire called 'The Count' was in Hogsmeade and travelled there to investigate. When she arrived, she found that it was actually just a con-man and thief called Todd Cribb who was using his magical skills to trick people into thinking he was a vampire. Enraged by this, she was planning on killing him, but saw Jacob's sibling trying to investigate. She communicated with them using Legilimency, warning them to stay away, however Jacob's sibling thought they were communicating with 'The Count', so refused.[1]
When Jacob's sibling returned to Hogsmeade for a second time to look for Merula Snyde, who had gone missing after the pair's first excursion into Hogsmeade, and this vampire encountered Jacob's sibling again. This time, she used her legilimency skills to create illusions of Jacob's sibling's friends in their mind, however she stopped when she realised that it was only making Jacob's sibling more determined. After realising that Jacob's sibling wouldn't give up on their friends, she decided to stop trying to kill Todd and instead let Jacob's sibling deal with him. After Jacob's sibling managed to apprehend Todd, she communicated with them again, asking to see them and their friends and told them to meet her by the lakeshore. When the three arrived she explained the situation, and when Merula offhandedly mentioned her vampire scrapbook, she was happy, saying that it made her feel normal to know that Merula had a record of their kind which wasn't malicious. She then thanked the group and disappeared, saying she hoped to meet them again and have them for dinner sometime.[1]

- Legilimency: This vampire was a skilled Legilimens, being able to communicate with others mentally over great distances and cause her victims to see convincing illusions.[1]
