In 1901, Corvus Lestrange IV sent his daughter Leta and his infant son Corvus to America under the protection of his entrusted half-elf servant Irma Dugard. During the trip over the Atlantic Ocean, Irma made the children untraceable using her weak magic.[2]
In the 1990s, Lord Voldemort and Sirius Black likely turned themselves untraceable.[1]
