"That was far easier than I thought it would be. I needn't have learned about the 1637 Werewolf Code of Conduct or the uprising of Elfric the Eager."
Hermione Granger on her History of Magic exams[src]

This uprising was a revolt formed by Elfric the Eager at some point in history. These actions were taught about in History of Magic at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hermione Granger learned about this in 1991, but said it hadn't been necessary.[1]
