The Urn of Ashes was an urn located in the Dungeons of Hogwarts Castle. The urn was red in colour, resting upon two stone dragons.[1]
History[]
By the 19th century, it was so old that the origins of the urn had been lost, but it was rumoured that the urn once had an inscription on it which said that it contained the ashes of a pioneer in dragon taming, who had decided to start with the Hungarian Horntail and was, presumably, incinerated.[1]
