Hogwarts Acceptance Letter Page

Hi, AVoraciousReader.

Could you explain why you have been continually reverting my edits on the Hogwarts acceptance letter page?

I am trying to edit the page to improve the wording.

Your responsability to go to the talk page after Ironyak's edit. AVoraciousReader (talk) 10:09, February 15, 2017 (UTC)
I'm not removing the links anymore. My original edit was made to remove the links and improve the wording. Now I'm just improving the wording.
You should look at my edit before reverting it.

Nominating a user page for deletion

  1. You do not edit another user's user page, unless it's to undo spam or vandalism. If they have a problem with their page, it's their responsibility to fix it, not yours.
  2. The correct way to nominate a page for deletion is to add the tag to the existing contents, so that others may judge for themselves what merit (if any) your nomination has. Blanking a page, whether for the purpose of a delete nomination or otherwise, is vandalism.
  3. You must also give a reason for any delete nomination you make, like this: {‍{delete|this is spam}}. If you don't then in effect you are nominating the page for deletion for no reason, which could itself be construed as vandalism.

Veela Page

Veela page. I'm putting an "an" in there for a reason - otherwise you have "are eighth-veela" which sounds confusing and has a blurring of vowels. "an" breaks that up, making it flow more clearly, and adding "each" makes the "an" work. I'm not doing this for reasons of ???, I'm doing this for readability.

Sorry but no. Final e in are is silent, so your objection does not work. AVoraciousReader (talk) 22:00, October 2, 2017 (UTC)

Its not the "e" i'm objecting to. It's the fact that "are eigth-" easily flows into each other because "are" has no glottal stop and so the beginning vowel continues. "each an" breaks up those vowel sounds so the sentence doesn't sound drunk. And in response to your last comment - Yes I was taught English in school. In England. Hey i just visited the Barty crouch sr wand page. And i noticed something. Barty crouch sr' S wand has indeed a thick handle. This is because he hides his wand in a cane. Just like Lucius Malfoy. Watch the schenes and youll find out.(you have to watch closely though)
