The incantations for spells must come from official sources. Please do not add Fanon to articles. - Nick O'Demus 08:09, November 18, 2014 (UTC)

RE:Spells in Films

I'm afraid not. Our stance on canon makes spells from films and video games canon (unless there's other reason to consider them so), so we don't distinguish between them. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 17:31, November 30, 2016 (UTC)

Alright, I just wanted to make it easier to find the spells from each story. sup>(Aiden1700's) 14:19, December 5, 2016 (UTC)</span>]] 14:19, December 5, 2016 (UTC)14:19, December 5, 2016 (UTC)

Unidentified spells

Category:Unidentified spells is for spells for which we don't know the proper (generally capitalized) names. Thus, please don't add this category to articles on spells with known proper names, like Atmospheric Charm and Braking Charm. When we don't know a spell's actual name, we generally use a conjectural placeholder, which typically describes the spell's effect or its characteristics. For example, if we didn't know that the Unforgivable Curse used to kill people was called the Killing Curse, we might use "green death spell" or "instant death spell" as a placeholder title. Those are the kinds of articles that should be sorted under Category:Unidentified spells. Starstuff (Owl me!) 14:19, December 5, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip, Sorry for adding pages to the wrong categories. That and I accidentally put Category:Spells of Unknown Incantation on the page for the Cushioning Charm / I miss took it for another page I was looking at. sup>(Aiden1700's) 14:19, December 5, 2016 (UTC)</span>]] 14:19, December 5, 2016 (UTC)14:19, December 5, 2016 (UTC)

It's okay. :) Your signature is also broken. Looks like the cause is an incomplete "" tag. It's missing the angle bracket at the front. Starstuff (Owl me!) 16:00, December 6, 2016 (UTC)

I've been trying to fix the signature but each time, it comes out as nothing or greatly distorted. sup>(Aiden1700's) 16:00, December 6, 2016 (UTC)

Obscurus Article - Edit in one go!

Dude, can you please leave off your editing of the Obscurus page? Either do it all in one fell swoop or stop because constant updates as to your edits - many of which are questionably necessary at best, outright typos at worst - is honestly just annoying. Edit in one fell swoop, or just don't. Because so far as I can tell you've not actually added anything of worth to the article yet. Estrildis (talk) 00:09, March 10, 2018 (UTC)
