Re: Tonks' middle name

Sorry for this extremely tardy reply. Regarding the message you left on my talk page about Tonks' middle name being stated to be Vulpecula on the TV Tropes page Embarassing First Name, I've searched extensively and been unable to find any reference to an interview where JKR revealed this information, so I'd treat it as doubtful. I wouldn't consider the TV Tropes page itself to be a sufficient source because anyone can insert information into articles on TV Tropes, and although it says JKR revealed the information in an "online interview," it doesn't specify what online interview or provide a link. Re: 3.gif

No, it shows the Beauxbatons carriage. Somebody uploaded another image over it and I fixed it. If it's still showing Fawkes for you, try doing a refresh. ProfessorTofty (talk) 19:11, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

You really shouldn't still be seeing Fawkes - that image was deleted from the file history. If a regular refresh isn't doing the job for you, and the tips that 1337star gave are having zero success either, then the only other solution I can think of is a full clear of your browser's cache. If you're not familiar with that, then try the tips on this page here. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:17, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

RE:Forum:Disable the Visual Editor?

Hello! It's all perfectly alright, but I had to do something about it; it was getting a bit out-of-hand. I was thinking more about concealing it from view, but still keep it visible in editing mode, you know, for archiving purposes. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 15:23, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

Welcome Message

Hi, Harry granger! I did not recognize, so thanks very much for pointing that out. It should be better now! Hunnie Bunn (talk)

Sock Puppet

Hello. Just wondering, when you talk about this user being a sockpuppet, do you mean you think she is this one? I may be too young to see it, but I don't quite get how you think they're related, and sorry if you were talking about a different one. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:35, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, I see. So... it's not allowed to have more than one account on here? I wanted to make sure because I was never made aware of any such rule. Thanks :) --  Hunnie Bunn  owl post!
No, it's not. Look here: Harry Potter Wiki:Multiple accounts#Sock Puppets.  Harry granger   Talk  contribs 20:54, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
That's true, but has she been using her account for "disruptive or deceptive purposes"? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:00, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, as long as it's not used to engage in destructive behaviour or circumvent policies, it's okay, it's only a problem when it does. ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:03, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Well, if that's the case, then I'm not allowed, because my IP got blocked a while back (and I'm not all too sure whether it's been unblocked) for blanking some pages (if memory serves correctly, The Standard Book of Spellswas one of them), and I made a new profile to try and better myself. I'm not sure... whilst it doesn't seem to set a good precedent for one to make a new profile after the old one has had numerous warnings (and I'll admit, it really isn't good to delete warnings or messages on one's talk page), as Professor Tofty has pointed out, Fizzy hasn't technicallydone anything wrong. Whilst I don't think it's a cause for concern yet, as you rightly pointed out, this is a matter for special users. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:15, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, and the same to you. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:23, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
Technically if the user has gotten in trouble for doing such things in the past and has created a new account, that's not allowed, but I'd say it only really becomes a problem if they start doing bad things when using the new account. ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:57, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

I'm sorry i should have asked for your permission first. i'm having trouble with setting up a certain thing, the green box with slytherin in one example and im studying different codes. i will delete eveything by tomorow. sorry about that. :( ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 21:31, October 4, 2012 (UTC)

Infobox name removal

This problem seems to be symptomatic of the use of the visual editor; I have left him a message asking him to use source mode. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:52, October 6, 2012 (UTC)

Fanon Template

Yes, I was made aware of that earlier, though I must say that I find it a tad harsher than my tastes; besides, the user in question had only added two fanon statements, and had not been made aware of the fanon policy. --Hunniebunn (talk) 15:06, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the messgae about name box, ive already talked to PT about it and found source mode. anywa. about ur scarf. Sure I can get one of each :) ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 17:48, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

I'm gonna give you a bunch so you can chose, let me dig the ravenclaw ones up but the ones i have for you right now are for gryf/claw. The codes need editing as always but they are basically there. :) ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 18:47, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

You're welcome. I hope you like them. I'm sorry but i have 2 projects to do for tomorow and i haven't started, so i hope to chat tomorow if i dont get back here later tonight, and ill get you a ravenclaw scarf :) ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 18:47, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

Your welcome about the scarf! :) I'm 13 in actual fact but I've grown up hiding everythign from everyone, my parents think i just take ages on my homework because im careful but scince i was 6 i think, i started to intergrate with the things online. Most people would think I'm a bit of a perv or something, i always pretended to be older, 32, born on the 29th of May. I got used to talking to adults and getting to know obout universities and politics both abroad and in my own country that way. My parents still don't know; which is why I nearly always mascarade my profiles and stuff online. I share the truth in my opinions and hardly ever let the facts out. Mainly because i dont even like the truth myself. Anyway. I know I'm ranting but i dont want to do the rest of my homework and i have 20 minutes before i come berreling down the strairs to finish it before 2 am :) ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 22:30, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the confidence back up. :) most just start to avoid me. :) I always manage to reason anyone including myself to do anything i want. If i want to create an account somewhere that really should be viewed by under 16s then ill do it as long as i can fidn enough good benifits and as little cons as i can for doing it :) and i meand 12, sorry. missed the 1. :) And about the truths, lets just say that going abroad and using deed poll is floating into my view as a seer. :D ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 23:11, October 7, 2012 (UTC)

Hey. I'm sorry, I probably won;t be able to talk much tonight, i have 2 projects i haven't started in for tomorow so sorry. and your welcome about the scarf. ZRSFizzyBongs (talk) 17:24, October 8, 2012 (UTC)

Seth's Talk Page

I'm not entirely sure your comment on Seth's talk page was directed towards the templates, but if it was then I'm sure it's alright. Seth was on editing after I put the templates on, he would have had to pass right by the pages in order to get to the Wainscott one, and anywho I already asked him. So don't worry, it's alright to add them (I presume, anywho, ha ha) --Hunniebunn (talk) 22:22, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

Transkription und Übersetzung

Hello, there! I've come to ask you something: I've come across a YouTube video featuring the whole (or, the greater part, at least) of Jarleth Hobart's story in Wonderbook: Book of Spells, from Gamescom 2012. The thing is: it's all in German (a language of which, sadly, I know squat). Could you transcribe the text, and then translate it? We'd be ever so grateful. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 21:35, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

That's great! Sound's a bit low, though, I personally could not distinguish words very well... --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 21:53, October 13, 2012 (UTC)
Great info, thank you so much! I've incorporated the info into the article. Thank you, really. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 00:11, October 14, 2012 (UTC)

Wow... thanks very much for your transcription of the video. I do hope you don't mind, but I can fill in some of the blanks with information from this video, which provides a similar (though not nearly as complete) transcripion. Hopefully that's all right. Again, much thanks :) --Hunniebunn (talk) 23:24, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

Unfortunately, it proved to be nearly impossible for me to discern the missing parts of the video... the volume was just as low as in the German video, and there was a man explaining it simultaneously. However, hopefully what I did get is enough... sadly, not much, but hopefully enough. --Hunniebunn (talk) 23:38, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

By all means, go ahead. It'll be good to clear away more of those non-notable articles. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:40, October 20, 2012 (UTC)

It already is orange. If you're not seeing it, try returning to the Recent changes page and hold down Shift or Control while hitting Refresh/Reload. If that still doesn't work, try clearing your browser's cache. ProfessorTofty (talk) 17:37, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

If possible, please try viewing the page in a browser other than the one you normally use and tell me if you see it in orange. ProfessorTofty (talk) 17:47, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
I just don't know - it's orange on my end on every computer I use. Have you tried all of the steps I suggested? You might also try hitting Control and F5 at the same time. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:26, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
Just don't know. It's orange for me and as far as I know, it's orange for everyone else. It wasn't at first, but then I got a report about it and I fixed it and I hadn't heard anything else about it until you left me your message. I'm out of suggestions. Maybe it'll clear up on its own eventually. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:34, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Hello Harry. I'm not sure if you realized, but there's already a category for articles with content from Wonderbook. I thought I'd let you know to save you time and energy. The pre-existing category is automatically added to every article with the {{Wonderbook}} template. --Hunniebunn (talk) 21:36, November 18, 2012 (UTC)

No, no, it isn't that the new one isn't wished for, just that there's already one existing and I wouldn't want you to have to keep on adding the other template to every single article. --Hunniebunn (talk) 21:45, November 18, 2012 (UTC)

Hello Harry granger. I've brought an issue to the community, which can be viewed here, and I wondered if you would mind providing your opinion on the matter (it is understood if you wish to remain silent, as in my country that is a right).--Hunniebunn (talk) 21:48, November 19, 2012 (UTC)

Secret-keeper flaw

I believe that there is an error in the identity of the secret keeper fopr 12 Grimmauld Place. In the Order of the Phoenix (the book, which I regard as canon, not the movie), Harry is let in on the secret by Mad-Eye Moody, not Dumbledore. As Dumbledore is still alive at this point, it would be impossible for Mad-eye to let anyone in on the secret if Dumbledore was the secret-keeper.

I also disagree with the basic premise that when the secret keeper dies, all who know the secret become secret keepers (this may be canon, but I doubt it). If an enemy suspected there was a Fidelius secret, all they had to do was kill the secret-keeper (presuambly one of the most powerful people involved), and then torture another member of the group. The torturer could then lead a party into the secret place (They might not know where they were, but the torturer would, and could lead them). I thoroughly doubt that the Death Eaters were completely unaware of the Order and who was likely in it, and who was the leader. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talkcontribs) Rico Perrien.

Duelling on Pottermore

I know it's just a game, but I'd recommend using the Full Body-Bind Curse when duelling (once you obtain the spellbook for it in the later chapters). It is the most powerful duelling spell available. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 01:35, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

It's only on the next chapter.. once you finish six and click onto seven you will be at the sorting, and then seven or eight easy questions... I think I'm more excited for it than you are :) --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 19:26, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

If yes, you ought to be able to click the little gold arrow leading right, saying "End of Chapter 6", then clicking it again to go onto the start of Chapter 7. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 19:43, December 29, 2012 (UTC)--Hunnie Bunn (talk) 19:43, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

Congratulations! I’m Prefect Gabriel Truman, and I’m delighted to welcome you to HUFFLEPUFF HOUSE. Our emblem is the badger, an animal that is often underestimated, because it lives quietly until attacked, but which, when provoked, can fight off animals much larger than itself, including wolves. Our house colours are yellow and black, and our common room lies one floor below the ground, on the same corridor as the kitchens. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:12, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

My old house, and also my favourite one. No offence to any Slytherins, but I'd really hate to be in Slytherin, myself, so I'm glad you're in Hufflepuff. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:17, December 29, 2012 (UTC)
Hey, congratulations, Hufflepuff! That means that whenever you're ready to duel, we duel for fun, then. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:19, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

Your Recent Post

Now that's not the way to talk and you know it. You're not a loser of any sort, Harry, you just need some time to adjust. I'm sure by the time you've finished Chapter 7 of the third book you'll be an expert on duelling. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:47, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

For the potions? That I don't bother with whatsoever, because luckily it isn't needed. You can do it, but you don't need to. You're right, though, I agree about the temperatures. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:17, December 29, 2012 (UTC)
Are you using the keyboard or clicking the letters with your mouse? It's much easier if you use the keyboard. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:37, December 29, 2012 (UTC)
How far in do you get before it falls down? It may be a glitch. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:48, December 29, 2012 (UTC)
So.. A-O-H falls down? I can understand if you can get the H and not the letter after, because it goes "A-O-H-M-A", not "A-O-H-A-M" as you said :) --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:57, December 29, 2012 (UTC)
So you're sure you click the "H" right when the line hits the "H" not before or after? And you're definitely not hitting a key close to the "H" but not right on it? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:04, December 29, 2012 (UTC)
That's good. And no - the door is only to be opened so you can see Fluffy growling, and note the trapdoor. It also serves as practise for the third book.. you'll see what I mean when you get there. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:14, December 29, 2012 (UTC)

Qualities being deleted

Hi, I was just writing to ask your opinion on the deletion of the qualities 'short-tempered', 'metally strong' and 'determined' from gryffindor's traits. Personally I disagree as the were mentioned in jk's live podcast interview, but the user 'waterspirrit' has twice deleted them and I don't want to undo the edit before getting a second opinion. Thanks. Basically, I have two speeds. Hostile or smart-alek. Your Choice.

I plan to contact them, I added one from the list and the others were added by noteable members. I could see were 'online' or 'about' if that makes sense and I don't have much time on the internet during these holidays so i just needed a quick reply. I'm about to undo the edit so thanks for our opinion. Basically, I have two speeds. Hostile or smart-alek. Your Choice.

You're not supposed to go out, Harry. It's simply something to watch if you're extremely bored. You can just click onto the small gray button with the gold arrow pointing to the right and you can move on. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:25, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

So you're on the potions riddle now. The sentence should appear on what looks like a scrap of parchment with an "X" on the right-hand corner. If it does, click the "X" and it should appear. Let me get to where you are and then I will try to explain better. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:32, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
Hm.. I don't know, but I might when I see it. The problem with the link is that it shows up as "Be patient, this page will be unlocked very soon" when I click it because I haven't gotten there yet. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:36, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
Well, I'm on chapter 15, so I'll be there soon. And as I've already been through these books, it isn't like I can't go back and explore them later if I want. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:42, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

Potion Puzzle

Righty, I'm there now and I understand. You should, upon hovering over a potion, see it light up. You need to click the two correct potions (the third, which is icy blue, and the seventh, a violet colour) --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:46, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

The potions should be sitting right underneath the sentence... try turning up your screen brightness... if that doesn't work it may be a glitch. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:51, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, so I heard... some other users were having trouble with the second book, the other day... things to be collected not showing up and such... it doesn't surprise me that it's happening with you. Hopefully this is an indication that they're putting some of the later chapters of the third book up though, but that's just a guess of mine. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:03, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

RE:Guess and Hope

That's right; even with the new content on Cadogan and the Knight Bus (and I suppose Marge, though only two new facts were gleaned from that entry) the one-moment-per-chapter thing bugged me a bit.

Then again, they released them fairly fast, and I don't quite know what else they could have put in; all the same, I will hope they're working on more of the third book.

Are you looking forward to Professor Lupin's biography appearing? I'm crossing my fingers it's in Chapter Eight, as that's when Harry gets invited into Lupin's office, which technically belongs to him. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:09, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I agree; it's shocking for me that the man who teaches the patronus leaves his patronus unknown; perhaps it's uncorporeal, meaning it doesn't have a shape?
As for his Muggle ancestry, I'm guessing it isn't from the Lupin half of the family, whichever that is, because of Lyall Lupin.
But yes, it is exciting, and it's nice to hear I'm not the only one looking forward to it. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:17, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

Hm.. true, but I don't recall Lupin communicating with his Patronus. What book was it in? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:25, December 31, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, okay... I wanted to make sure that I hadn't skipped a few pages somewhere. I always figured there was multiple ways of communication, though - Pottermore will probably clear this up. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:41, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

I see we both chose tonight for making archives of our talk pages - and around the same time. I found that quite interesting. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:43, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

RE:New Years'

Yes, may you have a happy, healthy, humble and prosperous 2013, and may your family have such also - fitting for such a kind, modest person as yourself. Happy New Years'! And hopefully Pottermore will work for you with the coming of the new year. Thank you for all the help you've given me through my first year here, and hopefully next year will be just as eventful. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:13, January 1, 2013 (UTC)

You too - have an excellent New Year's! And I too hope things go well for you on Pottermore. ProfessorTofty (talk) 01:16, January 1, 2013 (UTC)

I don't think there is, actually... sorry, but I've been looking for a way to contact them for a week or two and no results. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 19:36, January 1, 2013 (UTC)

Perhaps this page, though certainly not official, may be of assistance. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:26, January 1, 2013 (UTC)

RE:Contact, Part II

Well, I'm certainly glad it's working for you - you mentioned that you were using a different computer? Maybe your browser can't hold some parts of Pottermore - it was a problem a while back, I remember it on the Pottermore Wiki. However, all the same I'm glad you can enjoy the chapters. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 15:28, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

That is rather peculiar; as to your second query, not I. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 15:32, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

I know they're annoying... you've probably seen that when you hold your wand close to one it sort of freezes and then you can push it. When you do that, push it so that it overlaps another one. Get as many as you can to overlap and then push them all into the cage, they'll each be counted individually. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:19, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

Oh... I think I know. You must poke your wand a small bit through the cage door when you put the pixie in or else it will just be hovering outside the cage and will fly away. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:29, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

Alrighty, I did indeed fail to notice it was already there, thanks, Harry. MrSiriusBlack (talk) 21:13, January 7, 2013 (UTC)

The Recommender's Suggestion

Hello. I notice you aren't an admin. Well, seeming as on several occasions you have helped other users, sorted things out on the Wiki, edited thousands of times - well, here's The Recommender's Suggestion: Why don't you become an Admin? You'd be great. And also, You're opinion is needed! Talk:Periculum and Talk:Red Sparks. What do you think, should Red Sparks and Periculum be merged? Go to the talk pages for that.

Pottermore contacts

I've never understood why they include that warning, because it's not like you can see the personal information of the people who are on your contacts. So I usually just accept all requests. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:12, January 12, 2013 (UTC)

I think if someone asks to add you as a contact, it probably means that they saw your name somewhere on the site-- maybe they saw that you recently earned some points, or won a duel or something. As the system doesn't even have a means to send a private message or anything, it would seem to me that the only way anyone could get any info from you or anything would be if you were stupid enough to broadcast it on the Great Hall or House board or something. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:29, January 12, 2013 (UTC)

RE: Signature Harry granger

I actually don't understand what you mean? Can you show me a link? The only thing I'm doing on this site, is helping. :) --Station7 (talk) 21:40, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

I don't no how it appeared there. The only thing I did was putting my signature there. I would never edit some else signature for which reason what so ever. I don't know how it came there. I'm not that good with codes, so I have no reason to harm your signature. I hope you understand that. --Station7 (talk) 22:04, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

My computer has sometimes it's on will, so sometimes it does not things you want ;) My computer is sometimes like a human. Thanks! Having just gotten back from a long editing streak on the Potter Dictionary, it was only your message that alerted me to that fact. I am so happy to be part of what you call "the club", and equally happy that I have been trusted with this gift. --Hunnie Bunn (Owl me!) 15:51, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

Hey Harry. I wondered what your opinion was on this forum, and whether you could provide your input on that page. Thanks. --Hunnie Bunn (Owl me!) 22:12, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry bout that, I just copied your format for the red on the right of the profile and that was there... my pottermore name "SwordSilver7546" was there too but under title and not alias. Sorry, just missed that, but I've fixed it now.

I think it's font size tags, for example, the Quidditch Tournament Infobox uses "font-size:smaller." Feel free to copy over the code and modify it for your own uses. ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:35, January 30, 2013 (UTC)

Behind Snape's head. I can't tell if that's a portrait or a picture and I'm not too sure of the difference either way. I thought it might have been of the Millenium Bridge. Hope this helps explain a wee bit. --Hunnie Bunn (Owl me!) 16:59, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

Hm... either a bridge or a building. Interesting. --Hunnie Bunn (Owl me!) 17:11, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks :)... I'm not worried about awards, though - they weren't really ever at the front of my mind. So I'll just keep editing and if I get to 100,000 or whatever it is, yay. If not, oh well. But thanks for your congratulations. --Hunnie Bunn (Owl me!) 12:12, February 7, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Unused videos

It would appear that the videos have been added onto the wiki, over time, by users. It looks like some of them are simply links to YouTube videos that have since been removed. I'm going to put them on "use it or lose it" -- I'll delete the ones that have been removed and see if there's any use for the rest of them. ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:41, February 9, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Infobox code

Sorry, I'm afraid that's not my area of expertise. I don't know how it was done. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:48, February 9, 2013 (UTC)

From what I can gather from the template's page, it's the following piece of code that produces the "hide" button: <span class="hidable-button"></span>
How it works (or if it should work outside our wiki) is something I don't know, I'm afraid. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 23:05, February 9, 2013 (UTC)

That's true! A very happy birthday from all of us, and many happy returns (it may not be the 3rd in Germany anymore, but it's still your birthday in the wiki-time!). And, now I'm at it, thank you so much! :P --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 23:47, March 3, 2013 (UTC)
You mean change the birthday message to show the Pottermore cake? Nah, I dunno. The birthday message is more of a "fun" thing, so I don't know that it necessarily needs to be fully canon. And the film cake looks more "fun." ProfessorTofty (talk) 14:39, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

I hate to spoil your birthday, but this is troubling me. I just realized the e-mail your friend set for my account is having all my messages sent to it! That means I can't change my e-mail because the one it was set to is invalid. Indeed, I can't really do anything with my account. Do you remember your friend's name so that I can ask him what to do? (Or else might you know a solution)? This post is not unsigned. It's just hard to see.

It's asking me to check the one Mira84 created for an e-mail confirming I want to switch it to the new one... PS: What do you think of my signature? Too flashy? This post is not unsigned. It's just hard to see. 12:34, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
When I go to change my email from to, it asks me to check the hunniebunn one for confirmation e-mail. However, when I try to sign in with the hunniebunn email it tells me there's no such e-mail. So my account itself is virtually locked the way it is. Hunnie Bunn! 20:47, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, I suppose it would be quite annoying for you. Sorry. By the way, you have a surprise on the Potter Dictionary ;) Hunnie Bunn! 21:05, March 4, 2013 (UTC)

RE:Hagrid's Hut

On Pottermore (Book 1, Chapter 8, Moment 3 "Hagrid's Wooden House"), on the hanging signs on the side under "Locations" it is called "Hagrid's Hut", with capital letters. --Hunnie Bunn 17:46, March 16, 2013 (UTC)

The problem being that because it was already renamed from that name to this one, an administrator will have to conduct the rename. PS: How has your week been? It's been a while. --Hunnie Bunn 19:07, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
That's true. And fine, thank you for asking. --Hunnie Bunn 19:25, March 16, 2013 (UTC)

I agree, it is a tad ridiculous. And those same rumours you're hearing in German are the same ones that I hear in English and French places. Anywho, thanks for re-adding me (I'm more bitter that I'm not Hufflepuff than I am that my old account was infinitely blocked). --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:59, April 16, 2013 (UTC)

You raise a valid point - I now know all four of the Common Rooms (my very first Pottermore account, in May of 2012, was a Ravenclaw one). And yes, it would seem the rumours are true, as Professor Dumbledore rightly said in the first book/film. As per my heritage: my father was a Mètis (Irish and French), and he taught me a bit before he moved on with his life. So I suppose I'm a quarter French Canadian ;) --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:09, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
That's the one thing I hate about having been in all four Houses.... I don't want to have been in the winning House no matter what. I like the thought of helping one House try its best, and when I've been in all Houses it feels like cheating. Especially now, so close to the House Cup, it feels like going from the House with the least House Points to the House with the most was cheating. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:24, April 16, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, the character is named "William Weasley" that is true, but the Harry Potter Limited Edition shows the title as "Wedding of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour" and so that is what we must go with. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 13:44, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Technically I merely downloaded scans from a book provided by another user (if you want I can upload an image). And I'll try to fix the signature problem as soon as I can. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 14:02, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Non-working reference links

A lot of information was removed from Rowling's official site when it was redesigned last year. However, that information is still available if you visit the Internet Archive at You just have to enter the URL in question in the box they have there and then choose a date from back when the information was still there. For example, this link will get you the page about Dean Thomas in question. So, generally, before removing any reference link or information, it's a good idea to check the Internet Archive first to see if you can find it on there. If you can, just replace the old link with the Internet Archive link and include in the text of the link that it's "available via Internet Archive." Incidentally, this also works for a lot of other old sites that are no longer functioning. ProfessorTofty (talk) 23:32, June 16, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, but it didn't work. And yes, I can edit Potter Dictionary ... are you sure you can't? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 18:54, July 19, 2013 (UTC)

Hm, that's ridiculous. I cannot. As anonymous I can, when I am logged in the editor loads and loads and loads and nothing happens. No adding of categories, no article editing, nothing. Message from PotterMouth

Oh lol sorry didn't realize I made it as a question :P oups!

I guess that it could be both. I think I'm leaning more towards the blood of the enemy theory, but it does make sense with the elder wand. I think I'm gonna continue to search the web for this answer. Thanks for clearing it up :D

PotterMouth (talk) 12:43, October 4, 2013 (UTC)

How Harry survived...

I think I have a bit more of the theory if you were wondering...

After Voldemort casts the killing curse, Harry goes unconscious. Dumbledore's spirit leads Harry's spirit to a couple of seats and commends him for his bravery. He acknowledges that he is dead, but says that Harry is probably not. He explains, or helps Harry to figure out, that while Voldemort has just killed the part of his own soul that was embedded within Harry, Harry is still alive because Voldemort reconstituted his own body out of Harry's blood (inHarry Potter and the Goblet of Fire). Because Voldemort contains Harry's blood, as long as Voldemort is alive he preserves Lily Potter's charm, so Harry can't die at his hand. Thus, paradoxically, while Harry had to die before Voldemort could, Harry can't die while Voldemort lives. They have a double bond, with Voldemort's soul in Harry and Harry's blood in Voldemort.I don't know if that's still the full answer to the mystery, the elder wand could have also been included in the situation.PotterMouth (talk) 12:50, October 4, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, that's me :) --Boris Baran (talk) 21:46, November 5, 2013 (UTC)
I might, if I'm not engaging in my favorite mortal sin: acedia! --Boris Baran (talk) 21:50, November 5, 2013 (UTC)
I thought, you're talking about the German HP-Wikia... It's been ages, since I last edited the Wikipedia.--Boris Baran (talk) 21:56, November 5, 2013 (UTC)
No, I mean the German Wikipedia, not the German HP-Wikia.--Boris Baran (talk) 22:01, November 5, 2013 (UTC)

RE: Jonathan Massahi aka Jonathan Realson

Nope. That list was actually copied from OUR site. Not only is the list layout exactly the same on the date it was posted, but they even copied the reference numbers next to the names. - Nick O'Demus 16:26, November 16, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Image problems

Ok why did the photos get removed there good photos? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Elder wand lover (talkcontribs).

Who keeps removing my stuff. Whats the point of me being on this wiki if people just remove everything I do?

Elder wand lover (talk) 19:13, December 12, 2013 (UTC)

I know you are busy, but it's been a very long time. I wanted to say hi, and make sure all was okay with you. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:39, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

I think that if not causing trouble, then being away is better. I will try to be editing more on there where I can, but now is close to the examinations, and I have a big project to do, and so will not be on much anywhere. Sorry I haven't been a bigger help on the Potter Dictionary. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:55, December 16, 2013 (UTC)
I know you're busy, but I wondered if you might care, while we were on the subject, if you could explain some of the courtesies of Germany, the customs and such. I must admit I've always been curious, but I never really had an occasion where I could ask without seeming rather random. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:08, December 16, 2013 (UTC)
I don't really know ... what's considered polite, what isn't, greetings, gestures and such? It's really up to you - anything would be very helpful. Thank you for helping me with this. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:42, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

Yes indeed, Merry Christmas, happy holidays and all the best in the New Year! Sorry I'm late, I forgot it was Christmas. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:12, December 25, 2013 (UTC)

I have no idea why that is so, sorry. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 15:55, February 8, 2014 (UTC)

RE:Happy Birthday!

Thank you so much. A happy (belated) birthday to you, too, and here's hoping for many more! --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 23:21, March 5, 2014 (UTC)

Question for help

Hi, I'm kinda new to the wikis because I haven't been on in a while so I do forget a lot of how it works. Could I have a bit of help if you're not busy? Alvinatty4ever (talk) 20:28, March 14, 2014 (UTC)

RE:Wiki colours

The green colour scheme was put up for Saint Patrick's Day, which was yesterday. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 21:56, March 18, 2014 (UTC)

I meant to take it off sooner, but I spent the whole day away, so I only got to log-in now and revert it. It was a temporary festive theme, after all, but I'm glad you liked it! --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 22:05, March 18, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Re:Vernon Dursley's mother on Hunnie Bunn's talk page

Thanks - I'll send it to one of the admins too. --HarryPotterRules1 (talk) 22:47, May 8, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks very much for letting me know :-) --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:11, May 27, 2014 (UTC)

Forum: Spiff

Hello! I noticed that you mentioned the forum post does not allow comments. With that in mind, I opened up a blog post so people can comment and leave their opinions on spiffing the wiki. If you have thoughts on it, please share with us here! Thanks :) Grace @fandom (profile)•(talk) 17:36, May 28, 2014 (UTC)

RE:This userpage

It was spam, I deleted it. Thanks for pointing it out! --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 18:26, June 6, 2014 (UTC)

RE:Pottermore chapters

It now works all right for me ...

Showing all moments from past, present and future. I can't think why it wouldn't work for you... --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 19:39, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

That's relieving to hear. Since it shows moments they haven't put up yet, it's likely they decided to do a bit of tweaking on those chapters, and thus the whole thing might have been affected. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:01, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

RE:Re: New theme

I know that. Unfortunately, editing that page only edits the header on top of the Recent Edits page, not the admins' colour itself. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 16:55, June 30, 2014 (UTC)

I also know that; I was the one who added that to that page, in an attempt to change the admins' colours. It produced no effect, though, and I still haven't figured out why. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 23:24, June 30, 2014 (UTC)
These codes are a bit too complex for me, I'm afraid. How should I add those? Repeat them for every administrator, and just replace the username? --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 17:35, July 4, 2014 (UTC)
It didn't work out quite as expected. The admin links in Wiki Activity are purple alright, but those on Recent Changes aren't. What to do? --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 23:27, July 4, 2014 (UTC)
Great! Thanks for the help! ;) --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 21:30, July 5, 2014 (UTC)

RE:Translation of articles

Go ahead, you wouldn't be the first. All the text in this wiki is in the public domain -- this means it doesn't belong to anyone, really -- and everyone can use it as they please. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 18:45, July 14, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Userboxes - automatic adding category "Pure Blood Users"

Thanks! :) -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 21:17, August 22, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Your summary

I'm aware, I was merely pointing out that, since Voldemort is a member of the Gaunt family, listing him in Slytherin's infobox as a separate entry is redundant given the great number of generations between them (and is against policy to boot). -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 01:20, September 11, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Veridian - Viridian

Glad to have been the one to have caught it! Also glad to see you back on, over the summer I seem to have missed you :-) --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 01:46, September 23, 2014 (UTC)

Category deletion

Do you want to delete the category People

Arguments that it is necessary:

1.This category there are many wiki

2. This category shows that this person (eg not a goblin)

3. This category refers to "characters by race" (it also includes goblins, Vail, giants, ghosts, etc.)

4.K This category includes not only wizards and muggles and squibs
