Hey - I saw that you started several discussion on characters' skin color. We had a extended discussion about this (prompted largely by Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (play)) and came to the conclusion that all physical descriptors (hair, eyes, skin) must be based on the highest source of canon for that character. So for book characters, the physical descriptors must come from the books and should have a reference. As such, you are entirely in the clear for removing descriptors (we don't use "Unknown" for unknowns - just use a blank) that don't have a book source and are based on film or video game portrayals.
Hermione is more complicated in that JKR made several indications both in-text and outside of her light skin color. These are not just turns of phrases and are the highest canon for this wiki preempting the casting for Cursed Child. While JKR has pointed at the weaker of these descriptions as not constraining Hermione's portrayal, she has not fully addressed her previous written and drawn characterizations which are used as the current references. Free to continue this discussion on the various character pages as the evidence is different in each case, I just wanted to give you a heads up of the history on this topic and let you know why things are the way they are.
