RE: Unsupported flight

Yeah, thanks for the appreciation! I was tempted to just redirect it to Flying, but I found that said article focuses on magical flight in general, rather than the specific method invented by Voldemort. The article admittedly still needs some work however, mostly references and stuff.

And I honestly don't know the character at all, nor the Final Fantasy series in general that well. I just think it looks cool. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 00:50, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

Hi, this is Hermione99 I am absolutely sorry about that, but you mind explaining on how edit properly, I've seen your profile and there are not much pictures but lots of articles. Deletion of fanon warning

Quite a while ago, I recieved a fanon warning from you regarding the Malfoy family edits. As the information on the articles was correct and not fanon, am I allowed to delete my fanon warning on my talk page? It looks kind of annoying. SorenaJ (talk) 17:37, August 13, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Improving a Fanon Article

I do understand what you mean, and you're right, it will get deleted soon, as the delete template has been there a while, but there's something about seeing it deleted with all those errors that just didn't seem right to me. Maybe it's just me, but oh well... besides, I couldn't think of anything else to do... Cheers :) Hunnie Bunn (talk) 05:21, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

I think there is a problem with that image. You put it on the page Beauxbatons carriage, but it shows Fawkes.
Harry granger   Talk  contribs 18:41, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

What do you mean with refresh? Another clicking on the page? That I've done. I already see Fawkes.
Harry granger   Talk  contribs 19:15, August 19, 2012 (UTC)
When you look in the file history of this image I think there is the solution of the problem.
Harry granger   Talk  contribs 19:38, August 19, 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, the last tip worked. Now I see the carriage. 20:23, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

Right well anyway if you feel so strongly about it then take it up with the admins on those wikis. Sorry again. Rainbow Shifter (talk) 22:09, August 23, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Blocking

Just wondering, couldn't you know who just say he's from China or wherever if you block Denmark? Then you'd have to unblock Denmark and block China, then he'd change it to somewhere else, and you probably get the idea. Also, are we sure he's still doing stuff he shouldn't? He sounded quite sincere when he apologized on his talk page... I left this message on Nick O'Demus' talk page, but I figured as you're 'active', I'd ask you the same thing. 22:30, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

RE: RE: Blocking

I'm fairly certain you're talking about who I'm talking about. Anywho, I only mentioned the countries because (although it might have been a sarcastic remark) one of the admins said that they might have to go so far as to block the whole of Denmark. Also, isn't it true that the first three numbers of an IP adress (like the one I used in my first few messages to you because my laptop keeps logging me out) represent the country? Cheers, Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:19, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for all your help, it's nice to get all that straightened out. Just too bad about You-Know-Who (though I'm not all too sure you know who you-know-who is), though... Cheers, hunniebunn (owl) 23:33, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

RE: You-Know-Who

Okay, I just figured I'd clarify. Anywho, thanks for all your help, it's been... well, not really 'fun', but close enough. hunniebunn (talk) 23:40, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

Non-notable article?

Yeah, how come? I really don't see a problem with it... I mean it is exactly the same style as Unidentified St. Mungo's patient (II). Rainbow Shifter (talk) 00:27, August 28, 2012 (UTC)

But there is notible information about the character on there and there's a whole paragraph about her in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. There is enough information on there to have a decent article given the amount of information in the books, films, games, stc. Rainbow Shifter (talk) 00:46, August 28, 2012 (UTC)
Well I don't remember reading about many unidentified patients with a chunk missing from their leg. On the page there's not just basic information but other, extra information that does distinguish her from others. Rainbow Shifter (talk) 00:54, August 28, 2012 (UTC)

RE:Wrock bands

Hi! Sorry about that, I must've skipped your previous message. Yeah, definitely, we should redirect those articles like I did with the Hogwarts employees ones.

Sorry, about the unblock messages. I'm always telling them NOT to leave messages for me on this wiki, but it seems they are not listening to me. I no longer contribute to this wiki thats why I don't wish for them to leave messages for me here. If they continue to request for me to unlbock them I will delete them. Thank you.

I already asked 1337star about this yesterday, but I never did get a response and I was rather curious about how long, in your opinion, I should wait before, having presented various facts as to why I believe that Jelly-Legs Jinx and Jelly-Legs Curse, merging the two articles. I understand that some people won't like my opinion, and will most undoubtedly attempt to dissuade me, but as I have yet to meet any resistance on the matter, I wondered how long I should wait before going ahead. By the way, pardon if my spelling and grammar aren't properly "British" or what you might want to call it. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 16:53, September 9, 2012 (UTC)

Re:Harry Potter Limited Edition

Heh, not so much research as perusing the newest news items on Snitchseeker, but yeah. Anyway, about all I can see about an international release is that the Amazon page says "3000 copies worldwide". All I know is I'm not getting one. Way, way, way too expensive. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 21:31, September 10, 2012 (UTC)

If you want the bigger picture, you should read this. We, basically, are awaiting more information from Grunny to make sure these can be traced back to Denmark.

Either way, I am, too, starting to lose my patience at his displays of folly and presumptuousness and I am effectively starting to block those IPs that have "Danniesen trying to circumvent his ban" written all over them (quite literally; he managed to sign his name quite a few times on talk page), under HPW:SOCK. I'm not sure it is at all desirable to perform a range block of such dimension that it can prevent a legitimate user from editing the wiki when they have done nothing to deserve that, however. If anything, we must see that he understands that we are actually doing something to try and stop him, in order to strip him of his feeling of impunity. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 23:24, September 10, 2012 (UTC)

I am not at all trying to irritate you people. I'm just trying to put up some ideas, but almost all of them are turned down. Also, I can't control that the user changes itself, it is something it does automatically. I'm just trying to be a "part of the game". If you could explain what I do wrong it would be great, because I'm only trying to help. -- 05:12, September 11, 2012 (UTC)

Hello, Professor Tofty. I recently read an article about "Rollback", which is a function on the wiki which allows one to easily revert blatant vandalism quickly and effectively. I then read that you were a user with "Rollback rights", and wondered whether you would recommend my asking for "Rollback rights" in order for me to better abet the wiki; would it be worthwhile, and is there any sort of qualifications required? Thanks. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:04, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, thanks. So... just to clarify, I'm supposed to ask Grunny?Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:36, September 15, 2012 (UTC)
Er... I'm probably starting to get annoying now, but... do I put the message on the page itself or on the talk page? Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:55, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

Thank you Professor Tofty. Hunnie Bunn (talk) 01:08, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

This is gonna be kinda long, so sorry, but anyways... 1) I don't know how you can look at thiswithoutgettingaheadache, much less edit it... do you think we ought to do alphabetical order within each type, or are you thinking of something different? I could always help, it'd give me a break from the other project. 2) Sorry I forgot about the orphaned pages, I'll get back to it soon, though... 3) I was debating starting another project... like, making an article with all the new content from Pottermore(I think Nick O'Demus started something similar, I'm not sure). Would such a page be allowed? 4) Whilst doing all this, I was also thinking perhaps of adding a few images from Pottermore, I figured I'd give you a heads up. I'll be doing most of it tomorrow, though, it's sort of late here and there's some other stuff I wanted to get done --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:50, September 15, 2012 (UTC)

I was wondering... how would I do the latter part? Would I create a new article and call it, for example, "Peeves/Pottermore Transcription? Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:23, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
Okay. Thanks for all your help, Professor. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:50, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Your answer to this user on my talk page

That's the only point where I am not sure. But is it o. k. to make a new account when your old got warnings which you have deleted what's definitely not allowed? I am not sure. So I think that's the decision of special users. What do you think?  Harry granger   Talk  contribs 21:10, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Professor Tofty, Sorry to bother you, but recently an anon has decided to vandalise Bellatrix Lestrange's page. The problem is, if I try to undo their edit, it shows another vandalism. If I try to undo that one, it says I can't because of "conflicting intermediate edits". Is there anything that can be done? Thanks :) --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 16:04, September 22, 2012 (UTC)

Wiki with Stuff Only About the Books

Hello, Professor Tofty. I wondered... is there any wiki related to Harry Potter series, but with information only from the books and not the films or games or interviews and what not? Thanks :) Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:33, September 23, 2012 (UTC)

Hm... I don't suppose it could hurt to look around it and if I feel it's worth my time then I'll take it on. I'm almost done my cleanup on the List of spells, and after that I'll probably just be reverting minor vandalism, contributing to talk pages, and adding new content from Pottermore if need be. Thanks --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:26, September 23, 2012 (UTC)
Actually, I think that with a lot of work that wiki might actually go somewhere. Would I be allowed making a blog post (I think that's what they're called) asking people if they want to help improve (in other words, create) that wiki? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 23:18, September 23, 2012 (UTC)

Delete tag

I just saw the Delete tag on the :Category:Griffindor tower|Griffindor tower category, and I can see that it took you a lot of work to finish. I just wondered if it would be better to create a Delete tag that was about categories or just edit in the existing Delete tag to also involve categories? -- 18:16, September 24, 2012 (UTC)

I just asked if we should create a Delete tag about categories or add it into the existing one. -- 18:29, September 24, 2012 (UTC)
Yes. It is used. But you wrote all information from the tag's own page. All you had to do is write 'Cfd' and the reason, nothing else. -- 18:55, September 24, 2012 (UTC)

Infobox Names

I mean no offence, but I was using source mode to begin with. RE: Appearances

Yes, Professor, it's me. You see, the cops are after me and I need to go undercover. I'll be back online soon. But yeah, I'm afraid I don't know what appearances you're talking about. If you're talking about to the Bespectacled Slytherin girl's page, then it may have been me, I hadn't really done much other than adding the

Curses and Counter-Curses
Spells included in the book: Full Body-Bind Curse · Leg-Locker Curse · Jelly-Legs Curse · Pimple Jinx · Stickfast Hex · Tickling Hex · Tongue-Tying Curse · Hair Loss Curse

template in the past few hours. -- 02:31, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

I haven't the slightest idea what 'facetious' means, but here in Canada - in Ontario, at the least - it's somewhat of a joke, if you've accidentally mistranscribed someone's name or written your own differently from normal, to say that the cops are after you. Anywho, no, I do know how to add appearances to a page, I just figured it'd be better to add a template for such things as Magical Drafts and Potions and The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection (both of which I'll get to by Monday night at the latest). 04:01, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, I see. And I do try to use my account, but with my laptop, every time I press the "Publish" or "Save" buttons (save isn't on the wiki, I don't think) it logs me out of whatever I'm logged in as. I get tired of logging out all the time and eventually decided just to leave it as is on here. 04:07, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

I downloaded the new Google Chrome last week, since that's what I use on my computer, and it's been working the same way except for this. I'll check the "cookie" settings and maybe have a glass of milk with it. Thanks. 04:13, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

Ah okay, I didn't know about the talk page thing.
