Thank you for contributing image uploads to the Harry Potter Wiki. However, your recent upload was in breach of our image policy, and has since been corrected. In future, please be sure to fill out the information template that is provided on the upload page, in particular citing the source from which the image comes from, and adding categories. This is to help keep images organised and catalogued, and to provide clear sourcing for all uploads. Please be aware that images missing this information may be subject to deletion, and, in certain cases, uploading images after being asked to provide the correct information may lead to a block for the uploader. Please note that all articles about subjects within the Harry Potter universe are written from an "in-universe" perspective; this includes image captions. Thanks. --Emmy (★) 18:44, November 14, 2010 (UTC)
Hi! I really admire your profile, and think you're very lucky to havewon a trip to see Deathly Hallows three days before everyone else! I entered a contest not to long ago to win a trip to Seattle to the Harry Potter exhibition...I was, unfortunatly, unsucessful. I ended up getting to go anyway, though. On January 18th. Anyway, I hope I get to talk to you again somtime, nice to meet you, fellow Gryffindor! *Luna(Talk) 00:10, December 17, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Image templates
Oh, sure. Right now I need to go, but I will later. Thanks. Is this a requirement, though? There are plenty of pictures without this template. NimH 22:18, December 21, 2010 (UTC)
Haha okay. It's just that there's a lot to do with this book & new pages. I'm really lazy, so I like doing it in the fastest way possible. I'll try to add it, though. NimH 22:22, December 21, 2010 (UTC)
Best regards. --14:58, December 24, 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to copy form another website, I just copied and pasted to the page for a start, and then I would make all the changes. I'm afraid it took me a bit to make the proper edits because everyone else was editing at the same time, and it wouldn't save because of that reason. *Luna(Talk) 22:45, January 4, 2011 (UTC)
As technically they don't contradict anything from higher canon, they are a valid canon aspect. I'd advise you to create a Potterwatch broadcasts article, just to be consistent with Daily Prophet articles and The Quibbler articles (and we could even include transcripts of the broadcasts). -- 00:24, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Looks nice! I'll try to help you with the transcripts if I find the time sometime this week. -- 01:46, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
Seems ok. I'll try to transcribe Sightings Abroad and Fearsome Foes until the week is out. --22:29, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
- Whoa, you've done so many. =D I don't have Blackout! yet, but I'll keep looking. As for Requests for Permissions, you're right; we haven't been having enough attention.
- And I present you your new Order of Merlin:

- Ok. I've transcribed most of Fearsome Foes, but there's one part I can't make out. After Fred says "I told you, it's Rapier! I'd thought I've got the point by now. Point. Rapier. Sword... Geddit?", George says something ending in "... Rapier!" Can you make it out? -- 20:25, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

RE:Abandoned caravan park
You're right. "Abandoned caravan park" is an interim conjectural title whereas "Caravan Park" (capitalised) is the subject's actual name. I'll leave it to you to move the article and remove the "conjecture" tag. --23:48, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks =) -- 00:00, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
The storys we told about our dear Parvati and her beloved sister Padma are absolutely true. Why are you keep deleting our stories?
Now i'm going to jerk of on the tought of padma and parvati kissing eachother anus.
From what games? On the PC ones I just use Prt Scn and then I paste it into Paint. I use emulators to play the GBC and GBA video games (and the emulator itself allows to take screenshots of gameplay). As for PS1/PS2 games, I cannot take any screenshots myself, so I try to find what I need on the web (on video walkthroughs, etc.) --23:15, January 29, 2011 (UTC)
It's not that complicated. It's just a series of [[internal links]] with the rune images in between. If you want, you can copy the codes from my profile page (go as if you were going to edit the page, then copy the codes, then make the necessary changes - you can even change colours and/or the images)
P.S. RE: Thanks, it's ok. If I didn't want to help users, I hadn't nominated myself for admin. It comes with the job, or so to speak. =) --20:36, February 2, 2011 (UTC)
Have you played the gbc Harry Potter games? I´ve watched a walkthrough about the first game. Is it possible that some classrooms from the game don´t have articles yet? If I´m right, could you create them?--Rodolphus 15:08, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

There's an article under Healer's Shop. When you push "Select", a short message saying where you are appears. In Philosopher's Stone, it says "You are in the Healer's shop" (not capitalised) and in Chamber of Secrets it says "You are in the Healer Shop". The article probably should be moved either into "Healing station" or "Healer Shop". -- 23:24, February 6, 2011 (UTC)
- Perhaps "Healer Shop" with "healing station" redirecting to it? -- 00:19, February 7, 2011 (UTC)
Hello, I was wondering why you undid my edit on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (real). I was simply linking to other articles, which is done in pretty much every article on here. Glimmer721 02:51, February 23, 2011 (UTC)
- That's fine, I know about piping links from Wikipedia but I did not know exactly what each article was called (for example, it's William Weasley rather than Bill, as he is more referred to in the book, and being an in-universe external wiki I wasn't sure even if some middle names were used). It's no big deal, I was just confused. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Glimmer721 (talk • contribs).
RE:Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Game Soundtrack and Portraits
Hello! Sorry for taking so long to reply; it's been a mad week. As it has been officially released as the game's soundtrack and referenced in the official website as the game's soundtrack I don't think there's any trouble with creating an article on the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 soundtrack.
As for the portraits on Malfoy Manor, it's fine by me. Perhaps anyone who has Harry Potter Film Wizardry could check if there is a better shot of the paintings and move it onto their proper names. -- 19:22, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
Thank you! =D --15:15, March 5, 2011 (UTC)
Hello! I was just reading thorugh my talk page, and remembered I never told you how the Expo was, as you asked. It was the best thing ever, I was Sorted into Gryffindor, pulled a Madrake, threw a Quaffle, and even sat in Hagrid's chair(The EXACT chair Hermione sat on in Philsopher's Stone!!!) The Expo ended in a gift shop, which was easily the place I spent the most money in the entire vacation. You can never appreciate the size of a Hugarian Horntail's head until it's right next to you, and never appreciate the gigantic size of Hagrid's boots until they're on the floor in front of you. They didn't allow photography there, otherwise I'd post pictures. But I did buy a book with pictures in it, though. Well, it's been a long while since I've returned and hope you remember that you told me to tell you about it :) Oh, I did manage to get a couple pictures of the outside for you, I'll post them later. *Luna(Owl me!) 23:57, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
Hmmm. I guess the badges are canon, as they would be awards given by those clubs (I remember being awarded a badge for being clumsy while playing Quidditch...) and would logically fall into the Awards category. -- 17:50, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
That is a really good idea thanks! Oh, and if you would like to help out, that would be much appreciated! Right now I'm filling multiple roles. It can be a little overwhelming at times, there are so many empty spots I don't know where to begin! lol! Hogwarts employees, shops that need to be managed, I would like to eventually have 1 manager and 1 employee to every shop, so that way if someone isn't going to be around for awhile there's always someone to fill in! Seriously though, between this wiki, rpg wiki, my recipes wiki, community council, if I got paid by the hour from all the work, I'd be rich! lol! --BachLynn(Accio!) 19:08, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
I can't remember, do you how to make templates? I really need to get something on there for prefect and headboy badges, I don't think we have any headboys/girls yet, but we do have some prefects. --BachLynn(Accio!) 19:17, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
It's pretty much the same, you just have to make sure to substitute picture links for pics off our wiki and not this one, I actually coped a few off here just to give me a "base" structure to work with, and then just tweaked all the html from there, you can head over and take a look at some of the templates we have now. But yea, essentially it's the same as templates on here, the way you name them (template:name) the html is all the same, just links and files are diff. --BachLynn(Accio!) 19:27, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
Well, first of all do you know if you have the rich text editor on? I had to turn mine off because editing in Google Chrome it didn't work right. I've never noticed just the editing area not load, but I do have problems where the pages won't load at all, just goes to time out page, but I'll still be able to load other websites like facebook at the same time, so it makes me think it has something to do with Wiki. Not really sure though. --BachLynn(Accio!) 21:01, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

RE:HP Twitter Page
I agree. Those kinds of things shouldn't be on the main namespace. I'm not sure how the other admins see this, though. --20:11, March 23, 2011 (UTC)
We're also WAY behind on some of our featured content, especially the QOTW's and DYK's, so if you've got a couple of minutes, drop in and voice your opinions on any you like or dislike, and maybe we can get some of the backlog cleared out.
Thanks. - Nick O'Demus 09:09, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
I’m doing a study about the motivations of Wikia contributors, and you’ve been contacted as you are listed as an active rollbacker of this wiki. Would you be willing to fill out a survey to provide data for this study? It should only take 5-10 minutes.
If you'd rather not for specific reasons then can you get back to me on why you didn't want to fill it out? (and if possible I'll try and accommodate for your reasons by adjusting the survey). I'd like some kind of response because I'm doing this study for a class. Thanks for your consideration.
