A vacuum cleaner is a Muggle electronic device used to clean carpets.[1]
History[]
Queenie and Porpentina Goldstein owned a vacuum cleaner in their apartment in the 1920s.[2]
An Ectobuster was a type of vacuum cleaner. Arthur Weasley had charmed several of these to become alive.[4] A vacuum cleaner was found in the Muggle Studies Classroom and in the Muggle Studies showroom.[3]
In August 1991, Petunia Dursley stopped coming into what had become Harry's room to vacuum because she was scared of him now that he knew he was a wizard, much to his relief.[1]
Professor Cuthbert Binns was said to have read his notes in History of Magic lessons "in a flat drone like an old vacuum cleaner".[5]
