Wizard: "I pull down about a hundred sacks of Galleons a year! I'm a dragon killer for the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures."
Friend: "No you're not, you're a dish-washer at the Leaky Cauldron ... but I'm a Vampire Hunter, I've killed about ninety so far -"

A Vampire Hunter is a wizard or witch who professionally hunts vampires[1], despite such an occupation being illegal per paragraph twelve of the Guidelines for the Treatment of Non-Wizard Part-Humans.[2]

During the Quidditch World Cup in 1994 a wizard, infatuated with a group of Veela, claimed to be a Vampire Hunter who had killed at least ninety vampires by that point in time in an attempt to impress him over his friend's fabricated claims of being a dragon killer.[1]
