"Today, we will learn to de-fang vampiric vegetation. Please make sure your gardening tools and dental tools are at the ready."
Professor Sprout to her third-year Herbology students[src]

Vampiric vegetation were a group of magical plants characterised by their vampire-like teeth.[1] Because of their sharp teeth, they were presumably quite dangerous to handle and cultivate.[1]

History

"Pay attention, students! I want today's class to be puncture wound-free!"
Professor Sprout to her third-year Herbology students[src]

De-fanging these plants was covered in third-year Herbology lessons at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1][2]
