Versailles was a wealthy suburb in the city of Paris in France.[1]
History[]
Among the many rumoured origins of a mysterious jewel-encrusted tortoise shell was a suggestion that the shell was created by a mad wizard from Versailles and that it was later taken from his château when it was overrun by Nifflers.[2]
Some Caxambu witches appeared in Versailles in 1927, causing Le Cri de la Gargouille to report the event.[3] Tour en Floo offered Floo travel to this destination for 1153 Bezants.[4]
