Wagga Wagga is an inland city in Australia, New South Wales where Gilderoy Lockhart supposedly defeated the Wagga Wagga Werewolf.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- Wagga Wagga is a town on Wiradjuri land, with the name derived from the local Wiradjuri Aboriginal language - with the word Wagga meaning 'crow', and the repetition of Wagga creating a translation of 'place of many crows'.
- The town is only 65 km from a town called "Lockhart".[2]
- It's a popular in-between town, coincidently being roughly 500 km from both well known cities of Sydney and Melbourne.
- It's the largest inland town in its state New South Wales, with a population of roughly 66,000 inhabitants.
