Nurse Wainscott[4] was a witch who worked as a nurse at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry under Poppy Pomfrey during the 1990s. She attended to the fighters' injuries in the Great Hall during the Battle of Hogwarts.[3]

Wainscott was born some time before 1981.[1] As an adult, she worked as a nurse at Hogwarts, working under Madam Poppy Pomfrey in the 1997–1998 school year.[3]

In 1998, Wainscott attended the Battle of Hogwarts, attending to the various injuries of the fighters; it is possible that she fought as well, though this is unknown. It is also unknown if Wainscott survived the battle.[3]
Magical abilities and skills[]
- Healing magic: As a nurse at Hogwarts School, Wainscott would have had to have been accomplished in the field of medical magic, such as with various magical health treatments, such as healing spells, potions and other magical and non-magical remedies and medications. She tended to the injured and wounded during the Battle of Hogwarts, showing she was a fully competent Healer.[3]
