Wampus cat tears were tears produced by the Wampus cat. They had degenerative properties which could cause its drinker to rapidly lose their memory.[1]
History[]
It was used in Xeep's Luscious Locks Solution. While developing the counter-serum for the potion in the 1990–1991 school year, Severus Snape and Penny Haywood discovered this ingredient in the potion and explained its effects to Jacob's sibling in the Potions Classroom. Jacob's sibling that was a reason a Wampus cat was in Hogsmeade.[1]
