Wartcap powder is a pulverised substance which causes the skin of a person who touches it to form a thick hard crust. It can be used in potions such as the Fire Protection Potion.[1]
A biting silver snuffbox in the drawing room inside Number 12 Grimmauld Place was filled with powder from a Wartcap.[2]
