Washington Square Park is a public park in New York, known for its Washington Square Arch and central fountain.[1]
History[]
In 1992, a young wizard planned to propose to his girlfriend, Lisa, in Washington Square Park. After tossing a Dragot into the fountain for good luck, the coin accidentally struck Jacob's sibling, who had appeared there via a door Portkey. Moments later, Lisa arrived and angrily broke up with him before he could speak. Confused and frustrated, the wizard blamed the incident for the breakup and left the park.[1]
