The Welsh National Quidditch team was the national Quidditch team of Wales.

History[]

1994[]

The team competed in the 1994 Quidditch World Cup, and lost their match against Uganda.[1]

2014[]

Wales qualified for the 2014 Quidditch World Cup. Before the opening games Brazilian manager José Barboza insulted the Welsh Chasers by calling them "talentless hags" — Welsh manager, a former Quidditch player, Gwenog Jones, promptly threatened to "curse the face off" him, and Barboza issued a statement insisting that his original remark had been taken out of context.[2]

The team faced the German National Quidditch team during the first round,[3] and the Brazilian National Quidditch team during the second round.[4]
