William Dale was a wizard and the brother of Samantha Dale.[1]
Biography[]
He used to play Summoner's Court with his sister before he was cursed.[3]
In the 1890s, his sister Samantha Dale discovered a curse was placed on the Dale Family Tomb. She told William but he didn't take her seriously. He laughed in her face and then decided to enter the tomb to prove her wrong. Upon doing so, he was cursed when his feet transfigured into purple beets. He returned home where the family garden rabbits started giving his feet lots of attention. He was eventually taken to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. When his sister found out, she asked her friend to break the curse by returning the family crest to their ancestor, Marmaduke Dale's sarcophagus. When they were successful, Samantha received news that William's feet were back to normal.[1]
Personality and traits[]
According to Samantha, William always made fun of her discoveries and never listened to people.[1] He thought people should trust their abilities and be confident, but his sister thought he had the tendency to be overconfident.[4]
