Winkle was a male house-elf who worked at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the early 21st century.

Biography

At one point, Winkle saved a student from Ringkull, one of the other elves in the Hogwarts kitchens. Ringkull had tied up the student and had also knocked their friends, Daniel Page and Abigail Grey, unconscious. Winkle knocked Ringkull unconscious and untied the student, thus waking up the other two. Daniel didn't trust Winkle at first, but Winkle actually meant no harm.
