Wollongong is a coastal city in the state of New South Wales in Australia.[2] It was the hometown of the Wollongong Warriors Quidditch team.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The name of the city was initially misspelled "Woollongong", resulting the misspelling to appear in most editions of Quidditch Through the Ages, including translated editions, and was only corrected in the 2017 UK edition, with the US edition remaining uncorrected.
- The University of Wollongong is host to a Muggle Quidditch team that shares its name with its fictional counterpart.[3]
