The Wound-Cleaning Potion (or Wound Cleaning Potion)[2] is a healing potion that is used to sterilise wounds as a powerful antiseptic. It smokes and stings when applied.[1]
History
In the 1989–1990 school year, this potion was taught in sixth year Potions class by Severus Snape.[2]
Madam Pomfrey used it on Harry Potter when he was injured during the first task of the Triwizard Tournament in 1994.[1]
