This individual was a British wizard born into the prominent Yaxley family and a well-known proponent of pure-blood values. At some point after the completion of his magical education, he joined the Ministry of Magic in London, landing a job in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, where he met and enjoyed a cordial relationship with the well-respected war hero and eventual Head of the Auror Office, Theseus Scamander. He seemed to have been an either effective or otherwise influential official, as he was promoted in 1927 and was due to become part of then Hector Fawley's Support Staff.

Shortly thereafter, he attended a wizarding ball and was busily socialising with fellow Ministry officials when he was greeted by the aforementioned Dark Wizard-catcher, who congratulated him on "moving upstairs." Leta Lestrange was shown to dislike his behaviour of bee-lining towards her due to her blood status as a pure-blood.[1]

Around a decade later, he and his kinsmen became proud members of the Sacred Twenty-Eight in the Pure-Blood Directory
