The Yew Weaver was a broomstick produced in the late 19th century.[1]
History[]
During the 1890–1891 school year, the proprietor of Spintwitches Sporting Needs, Albie Weekes, offered the Yew Weaver for sale to interested individuals such as the new fifth-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1] It was described as "a comfortable and speedy broom with a unique and woven design", though it was known for being rarely used due to the negative connotations associating yew wood with the Dark Arts. It cost 600 Galleons.[2]
