The Yorkshire Moors (also known as the North York Moors or the North Yorkshire Moors), is a national park in North Yorkshire, England. The moors are one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the United Kingdom. It covers an area of 1,436 km² (554 square miles).[1]
The Yorkshire Moors are home to a Quidditch stadium, in which spectators are advised to cheer quietly as the Muggles come looking from time to time for the source of all the noise.[2]
